COLOSORB 502
LIQUID FLOCCULANT AND DECOLORIZING AGENT
COLOSORB 502 is a liquid blend of flocculants and decolorizing reagents of high cationic charge and of low to medium molecular weight. The polymers were specifically blended for use in the sugar refining process where improved filtrations and color removal are desired. Supplied as a readily pumpable liquid, it can also be easily diluted with water to attained lighter solutions for plant use. Product maximum dosage is 900 ppm based on weight of sugar solids.
TYPICAL BENEFITS
1 . when used at recommended dosage, COLOSORB 502 reduces sugar syrup
color by 10% to 30% depending on the dosage and the quality of carbonatation
or phosphitation process.

the subsequent filtration process by increasing filter flow rates and capacity
between filter clean-up.
